What is DPCMS

Destinty Promoters Cooperative (Onigbongbo) Multipurpose Society Lagos, is a christian non-governmental empowerment organization, an affiliates of Destiny Promoters Evangelical Outreach (DPEO).

DPEO is an interdenominational christian outreach with a focused aim of helping men discover their significance here on earth and empowering them to fulfilling it through evangelical and empowerment activities. Our cooperative! Destiny Promoters Cooperative is the empowerment arm of our outreach.

The outreach is dully registered with the cooperate affair commission of Nigeria (RC:7168250) and Lagos state ministry of commerce cooperative trade and investment (LSCS:19247).

We equip and empower individuals and communities to be financially stable, improved livelihood, living a fulfilling life and creating a sense of community through collaborative savings.

Equipping individuals and communities to thrive in a life of self-sufficiency, dignity and purpose by creating a collaborative community where combined refocuses are harnessed to drive meaningful changes, enhance livelihood, build a brighter future and support kingdom-focused initiatives.

Empowering individuals and communities to break free from the life of poverty and dependence, and to have access to financial stability, abundant food, safe and comfortable housing, high quality education and skills training for self-growth and development.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  1. By relying on biblical principles of love, generosity, stewardship and community, we strive to create a meaningful and impactful platform where individuals take control of their livelihood through an empowered collaborative micro-contributions.
  2. To empower individuals and communities to take control of their lives and destinies by equipping them to be self-sufficient and independent. We believe that every individual deserves a life with dignity and respect.
  3. To create a community where every individuals are empowered to have access to stable and fulfilling livelihood, financial security, food availability, safe, secured and comfortable housing, high-moral standard education and skills training for self-growth and development.
  4. We strive to build a communities that will uphold equality regardless of background or circumstances, resilient, vibrant and self-sustaining where individuals can live a balanced life with hope, dignity and joy through mutual support and collective success.
  5. Unlocking the destinies of individuals to improve their lives by pooling collaborative resources and expertise together to uplift and support one another, while leveraging on collective strength to achieving greater impact.
  6. To use our collective resources to support kingdom-focused initiatives, spreading the love of christ, transforming lives and expanding God’s kingdom.

HOW THE THRIFT WORKS

-Destiny Promoters Cooperative is a christian non-governmental empowerment organization that provides a secure and accessible savings platform through a culture of thrift.

-To become a member, a non-refundable empowerment registration fee of three thousand naira (N3, 000.00) is required.

-After registration, contribute one thousand five hundred naira (N1,500.00) weekly as a member, for fifty (50) or twenty-five (25) or thirteen (13) weeks depending on your choice of plan.

- Your matured contribution for 50weeks will amount to seventy five thousand naira (N75,000.00), but you will be empowered with the sum of one hundred and fifty thousand naira (N150,000.00) and foodstuffs incentives to support and enhance your livelihood after the 50weeks of contribution.

-However; you will be expected to uphold the sustenance of the cooperative by bringing at least one person within the 1st – 25th weeks of becoming a member. And this will qualify you for the monetary and foodstuffs incentives empowerment.

When I was told about Destiny Promoters Cooperative, I was sceptical because, There are lots of such kind of institutions out there defrauding people, and due to my past experience, I was scared. But, my Sister who introduced the cooperatve to me, told me that the Cooperative is a Christian empowerment Cooperative that is focused on supporting people.

They run several programmes such as, empowering members with good and Subsidised education for their Children and low cost housing schemes. This really attracted me to becoming a member. Since then, I have no regrets, as they are transparent and strive to keep to their promises. I wish the Lord favour the Cooperative so that they can make this world a better place for everybody.
